Italian researchers based on results of previous studies have shown that lack of vitamin "d" in the body is linked to obesity.
The researchers divided the 400 adult obese or who suffer from excessive obesity into three groups, namely: who do not take any supplements, who eat 25 thousand units of vitamin supplements "d" per month, who consume 100 thousand units.
The researchers put the three groups on the same balanced diet.
After six months, two groups who are eating vitamin "D" supplements lost big amount of weight and a marked decrease in waistline, compared to those who do not take supplements at all.
The researchers said that people who consumed 100 thousand units of vitamin "D" supplements lost 5.4 kg of their weight on average rate.
and it lost who ate 25 thousand units 3.8 kg on average rate , while not exceeding the weight loss for those who did not take supplements of 2.1 kg in average rate.
The organizers of the study concluded that people who are obese and have a lack of vitamin "d" should take supplements of it to help them in the loss of excess weight.
